I have been involved in theatre since I attended a production of A Christmas Carol with my grandparents while I was in kindergarten. Watching the show gave me a sense of wonder that nothing else had made me feel before and inspired me to act in my school's productions. I had roles of increasing relevance until fifth grade when I was cast as the lead in an adaptation of Robin Hood. I was unable to act during 6th and 7th grade, but am glad that I have been able to become more active in theatre again in the last three years.
My favourite part of Broken Box is the class atmosphere. Everyone is committed to class activities and brings a positive attitude. There is also a strong sense of community and the returning members are very welcoming, making the class really enjoyable to take part in.
Theatre has been a part of my life for so long that I can't imagine continuing without it after Broken Box.
I love 19th and early 20th-century horror and weird-fiction; however, I am completely terrified of modern horror movies and novels.
